U.S. employers tend to favor job candidates with academic qualifications that have been Board Certified, as opposed to the individuals who present foreign credentials solely in English translation of their overseas academic credentials do. The validation process consists of three key steps:
-
Academic Credentials Evaluation:
Initially, the applicant’s academic credentials are meticulously reviewed by a credential evaluator. This assessment determines whether the degree in question aligns with the Areas of Study outlined in the curriculum of regionally accredited universities in the United States.
-
Written Examinations in Degree Curriculum Areas:
Following the credential evaluation, candidates are required to complete written examinations covering the designated Areas of Study within the degree curriculum. These examinations assess their knowledge in the subject matter and are critical for validation.
-
Candidates and Professional ID:
Candidates who successfully meet the criteria are granted a Board Certified Degree Diploma, affirming the legitimacy of their degree. Additionally, they receive a Professional ID as recognition of their status as a Board Certified Degree Holder.
